Kayak Cart 150 lbs Load

This VEVOR kayak cart transports a kayak or stand-up paddle board from vehicle to water with a 150 lbs capacity. The aluminium alloy frame and PP components keep the unit light at 8.2 lb while the 10 in rubber tyres roll over sand and gravel. A 3.6 m ratchet tie-down strap secures the load during transit. It suits solo paddlers who move gear across mixed terrain.

Capacity and Headroom

The 150 lbs rating handles most recreational kayaks and SUPs with gear, leaving headroom for a dry bag or cooler. On soft sand the 10 in tyres maintain traction, but very heavy tandem craft or loaded fishing kayaks may exceed the limit. The 3.6 m strap wraps long hulls, yet extremely wide decks could need additional tie-down points. It covers typical day-trip loads, not expedition-weight vessels.

Upgrade From Hand Carry

Replaces carrying a boat by hand or using a basic two-wheel dolly with smaller plastic wheels. The jump is worth it when launch points involve parking-lot distances, uneven paths or solo loading. If you always launch from a dock beside the car or use a trailer, the cart adds storage bulk without benefit. It also does not suit users who need a folding frame that fits inside a hatch.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 in rubber tires and 150 lb capacity handle my kayak and a loaded gear bag together?

The cart is rated for 150 lbs total load; the 10 in rubber tires roll over sand and gravel, so the combined weight of kayak and gear must stay within that limit.

How do I confirm the aluminum alloy frame is seated correctly after assembly?

Check that the frame locks into the folded-out position, the wheels spin freely on the axles, and the ratchet strap pulls tight without frame flex.

Does the package include the 3.6 m ratchet tie-down strap or must I buy one separately?

The box contains the kayak cart, one 3.6 m ratchet tie-down strap, and the user manual — no extra strap purchase is needed.
