Capacity & Operation

This rotary tumbler holds up to 3 kg of media and workpieces inside a polycarbonate barrel. It runs on 110 V AC power and draws 45 W while offering five discrete speeds from 80 rpm to 150 rpm. A built-in timer adjustable from 10 to 60 minutes controls each cycle automatically.

Jewellery Makers vs Industrial Users

The machine suits jewellers, hobbyists and small workshops that need batch polishing of rings, gemstones or coins. Buyers who need continuous duty cycles beyond 60 minutes or capacities above 3 kg should look at larger industrial tumblers.

3 kg Barrel Limit

The inner barrel measures 13.1 cm by 9.6 cm and accepts a maximum load of 3 kg. This capacity figure decides whether a single batch can handle your typical workpiece volume.

Questions about this item

What are the barrel's inner dimensions so I know what workpieces fit?

The inner barrel measures 13.1 x 9.6 cm (5.15 x 3.7 in), giving the usable space for items up to the 3 kg capacity limit.

How do I set the speed and timer correctly for the first run?

Choose one of the five fixed speeds (80, 90, 110, 130 or 150 rpm) and set the timer between 10 and 60 minutes; a common mistake is forgetting to latch the buckle securely before starting.

When should I replace the seal ring to keep the barrel leak-proof?

Inspect the supplied seal ring regularly and replace it if it shows cracks, flattening or loss of elasticity, as a worn ring lets slurry escape during rotation.
