Cordless Grease Gun 8000 PSI

This cordless grease gun delivers up to 8000 PSI of working pressure for heavy-duty lubrication tasks. It accepts standard 14 oz cartridges and pumps up to 50 oz per minute. The tool is compatible with 18V Makita batteries and is sold as a bare tool without a battery or charger included.

Pressure and Output Limits

Maximum working pressure reaches 8000 PSI or 55 MPa, while the peak grease output is rated at 5 oz per minute (140 g/min). The 35.4-inch flexible hose is rated for this pressure, and the air release valve helps maintain steady flow. Output speed varies with the variable-speed trigger and grease viscosity.

Compatibility and Setup Checks

Verify you own a compatible 18V Makita battery, as none is supplied with the tool. Ensure your grease cartridges match the 14 oz (400 g) capacity and that the thread size suits your fittings. The package includes a rigid pipe, two nozzles, a flat nozzle, thread seal tape, a shoulder strap, and a carrying case.

Questions about this item

What does the 8000 PSI rating mean when I am actually greasing equipment?

It is the maximum pressure the pump can develop; in use the variable-speed trigger lets you apply only the force needed for each fitting, so you rarely run at the full 8000 PSI.

The gun is described as compatible with 18 V Makita batteries — what does that cap in practice?

It means the tool accepts any 18 V Makita slide-style pack; output speed and pressure are limited by the gun’s own 8000 PSI / 50 oz-per-minute design, not by the battery voltage.

Which hose length should I choose for reaching fittings on large machinery?

The kit includes a single 35.4-inch flexible hose plus a rigid pipe; together they cover most overhead and tight-access points without needing an extra extension.
