Universal J1772 Charging Station

This Level 2 EV charger delivers up to 40 A at 240 V for SAE J1772 vehicles. The 25 ft cable reaches across driveways or garages, and a NEMA 14-50P plug connects to a matching outlet. An integrated LCD shows real-time voltage, current, power and session time. A carrying bag and wall-mount holder support portable or fixed installation.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Adjustable current lets the unit operate continuously from 1.44 kW up to 9.6 kW without thermal throttling. Built-in protection guards against surge, leakage, grounding faults, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overheating and overcharging during extended sessions. The IP66 enclosure maintains its seal in rain or dust while the charger runs at full rated output.

Thermals Noise and Power

Operating range spans -30 °C to 50 °C, so the charger functions in harsh winters and hot summers. No active cooling fan is fitted, so operation is silent apart from relay clicks. Power draw scales with the selected current setting, peaking at 9.6 kW when configured for 40 A on a 240 V supply.
