Livestock stand for goats and sheep

This adjustable stand is built for small-ruminant owners who need a stable platform for milking, shearing and routine health checks. A 47 by 23 inch tabletop supports animals up to 500 lbs, while an integrated headpiece and nose loop keep the animal secure during handling.

Assembly and common pitfalls

Illustrated instructions and labelled hardware allow the frame to be bolted together quickly, and the Velcro strap simplifies head fixation once the animal is in place. The four height positions are set with a pin mechanism; if the pins are not fully seated the tabletop can shift under load, so each setting should be double-checked before use.

Behaviour under sustained use

The iron frame with triangular bracing is rated for 500 lbs and resists flexing during longer grooming or milking sessions. The spray-painted finish protects against rust from repeated wash-downs, and the smooth edges reduce the chance of injury when the animal leans against the structure for extended periods.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the stand is stable after assembly?

The frame uses iron pipes with a triangular reinforcement and four pin-set height positions at 21, 25, 29 and 33 inches; once the pins are locked the 47×23 inch tabletop should not wobble under a 500 lb load.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately?

The package contains the stand with countertop, a chain, a Velcro strap and a full set of installation accessories; no extra hardware is required for assembly.

Which height setting should I choose for my animal?

Four fixed settings are available at 21, 25, 29 and 33 inches; match the setting to the animal’s withers so the headpiece can be adjusted between 46 and 64.1 inches for secure restraint.
