Capacity and Build

This 2 L sausage stuffer uses a food-grade 304 stainless-steel barrel and die-cast aluminium frame to hold up to 5 lbs of meat mix. The vertical layout and single-speed gear suit home cooks, butchers and small commercial kitchens that need consistent stuffing without electric power.

Tubes and Clamps

Three plastic stuffing tubes in different diameters let you switch between thin Italian links, chorizo and thicker sausages. Two G-type clamps bolt the base to a table edge up to 8.66 cm thick, keeping the 11 lb unit steady during the crank stroke.

Assembly and Cleaning

The cylinder, piston and tubes detach by hand for washing; no tools are required beyond the supplied handle. The clamp screws must be tightened evenly or the frame can rock, and the plastic tubes can crack if forced onto over-filled casings.

Questions about this item

Which parts of the 304 stainless steel barrel and 201 stainless steel components need periodic replacement?

The barrel, piston, stuffing tubes and gears are all metal and designed for long-term use; only the plastic stuffing tubes may wear and need replacing over time.

What limits continuous stuffing sessions with the single-speed gear and 2 L capacity?

The single gear ratio and 2 litre barrel mean the operator’s arm fatigue and the need to refill the cylinder become the practical limits during extended runs.

How much heat does the die-cast aluminum gear housing generate during all-day commercial use?

No motor is present, so the housing stays at room temperature; only the user’s effort produces warmth during prolonged operation.
