Outdoor cat shelter with removable floor

The VEVOR DUSCH2402 is a wooden feral cat house built for outdoor use. It measures 24 by 21 by 18 inches and weighs 18.08 lbs. A gray asphalt roof and fir walls provide weather protection for stray or pet cats.

Suits caregivers needing easy cleaning access

The top opens fully and the bottom panel removes, so bedding can be changed without lifting the whole unit. It is a single-layer box cabinet, so households wanting separate sleeping and feeding compartments should look at multi-level shelters instead.

23.03-inch width decides placement options

The shelter footprint is 600 mm wide by 530 mm deep. That dimension determines whether it fits on a porch, under a deck or inside a garage. Check the available floor space before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 600 mm wide roof door hinge fully open for cleaning?

The top is openable so the roof door lifts clear, giving full access to the 465 mm deep interior.

What floor space does the 530 mm by 600 mm footprint need on a patio?

Allow a level area at least 530 mm deep by 600 mm wide; the unit weighs 8.2 kg so it stays put once placed.

How do I assemble the flat-pack panels without stripping the pre-drilled holes?

Hand-tighten the supplied screws into the fir frame first, then give each a final quarter-turn with a screwdriver — power drivers often over-torque the soft wood.
