Product Identity

The VEVOR Overland Truck Bed Rack model 1104 is a steel frame that mounts across the bed of full-size and mid-size trucks. It provides a stationary platform with a static weight capacity of 900 lbs and a net weight of 101.0 lbs.

Fit and Limits

This rack suits owners who want a permanent, high-capacity mount for rooftop tents, fuel cans or recovery gear and who have the clearance for its 20.6 in height. It does not suit drivers who need a low-profile rack that stays below the cab roofline or who cannot lift the 101.0 lb assembly during installation.

Deciding Specification

The adjustable footprint spans 53.3 to 64.2 in in length and 54.3 to 68.3 in in width, so the single measurement that decides fit is whether your truck bed rails fall inside those ranges.

Questions about this item

How do I install the VEVOR 1104 rack and which step is most often missed?

Assemble the steel frame using the 76 M10*20 bolts, 12 M10*35 bolts, 76 M10 nuts and supplied hex wrench; the step most often missed is torquing every bolt after the rack is squared on the bed rails.

What maintenance or replacement will the VEVOR 1104 rack need over time?

Inspect the 0.1 in thick steel tubes and all bolted joints periodically; retighten the M10 hardware and touch up any scratched coating to prevent corrosion.

What limit appears first when the VEVOR 1104 rack is loaded continuously on rough terrain?

The 900 lbs static weight capacity is the first limit; sustained vibration can loosen the 76 M10*20 and 12 M10*35 bolted connections before the steel structure yields.
