72-Inch Fork Extensions for 4.2-Inch Forks

These VEVOR pallet fork extensions are made from Q235 carbon steel and measure 71.65 inches in total length. They are designed to slide over existing forklift forks that are 4.2 inches wide, providing a 4000 lbs load capacity per pair. The yellow powder-coated finish resists corrosion in humid or harsh environments.

Ideal for Warehouse Operators Needing Extra Reach

This pair suits operators who need to handle longer or wider loads with a standard forklift. They are not for users whose forks exceed 4.2 inches in width or who require a higher rated capacity than 1.815 tons. Buyers needing a different length or profile should look at other attachments.

Verify Fork Width and Load Rating Before Buying

Confirm your forklift forks measure exactly 4.2 inches across to match the 4.53-inch inner width of these extensions. Ensure the combined weight of the extensions and your load stays within the truck’s rated capacity at the new load centre. The package includes two extensions and a user manual.

Questions about this item

Will these 72" extensions fit onto my existing 4.2" wide forklift forks?

Yes, the inner width is 4.53" (115 mm) which is designed to snugly fit standard 4.2" (106 mm) forks without tools.

Can I use these Q235 carbon steel extensions with older forklift models that have 4.2" forks?

The universal dimensions of 71.65" length and 4.53" inner width match 4.2" forks on most industrial trucks regardless of age.

How do I confirm the 4000 lbs capacity is holding safely after I slide the extensions onto the 4.2" forks?

Check that the extensions sit flush with no gap at the heel, the locking pins engage fully, and the load stays level during a low-height test lift.
