Heavy-Duty Fork Extensions for 6 in Forks

These pallet fork extensions are made from Q235 carbon steel and fit forklift forks that are 6 in wide. They extend the reach to 96.06 in and support loads up to 4000 lbs per pair. The powder-coated finish resists corrosion in humid or harsh environments.

Sustained Load Performance

The one-piece welded construction maintains structural stability when the full 4000 lb capacity is carried repeatedly. The 1.97 in outer height and 6.97 in outer width keep the load centred over the host forks, reducing flex during long transport runs.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that your existing forks measure 6 in across the blade so the 6.5 in inner width slides on without gaps. Confirm the forklift’s rated capacity remains adequate with the added 118.74 lb weight of the extensions. Ensure the 96.06 in total length suits your aisle and rack clearances.

Questions about this item

How much extra weight do the 96" fork extensions add to the forklift?

Each pair weighs 118.74 lbs (53.86 kg), adding that mass directly to the fork carriage during operation.

What existing fork width is required for the 6.5" inner width to fit securely?

They are designed to slide onto standard 6" (152.4 mm) wide forks, matching the inner width of 6.5" (165 mm) for a snug fit.

Will the 1.97" outer height clear the load backrest on an older forklift carriage?

The extensions add 1.97" (50 mm) of height to the fork blade; verify your carriage and backrest clearance before installing.
