Brass Push-Fit Connectors for PEX Copper CPVC

This set contains twelve straight couplings sized 3/4 by 1/2 inch for joining PEX copper or CPVC pipe in heating shower and outdoor hose systems. The lead-free brass C46500 bodies resist corrosion and handle pressure up to 100 PSI at temperatures reaching 82 °C.

Two Removal Tools Enable Reusable Installations

Two tube pullers are included so fittings can be released without damage allowing reuse on future jobs. An instruction manual guides the push-fit process which needs no soldering crimping or glue reducing install time and skill level required.

Suits DIY Repairs and Small Commercial Jobs

Builders needing elbows tees or threaded adapters will not find them in this straight-coupling kit. Projects demanding higher pressure ratings or larger diameter pipe should use fittings specified for those conditions.

Questions about this item

Will the brass C46500 fittings need replacement parts or scheduled maintenance after installation?

The solid brass C46500 construction is corrosion-resistant and designed for reuse with the included tube removal tools, so no scheduled replacement parts or maintenance are required.

Which limit appears first during continuous operation — the 100 PSI pressure rating or the 82°C temperature ceiling?

The 82°C maximum working temperature is the first limit reached under sustained hot-water use, while the 100 PSI pressure rating provides a higher margin for typical plumbing pressures.

How much heat do the fittings add to the system when hot water runs all day at 82°C?

The brass body conducts heat from the 82°C water but adds no energy of its own; surface temperature will match the fluid temperature without increasing the load on the heater.
