Portable EV Charger for J1772 Vehicles

This portable EV charger delivers up to 16 amps at 120 or 240 volts, providing a maximum power output of 3.8 kW. It uses a universal SAE J1772 connector compatible with most electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The unit weighs 3.2 kg and includes a 28-foot cable for flexible positioning.

Suits Homeowners with Compatible Outlets

The charger requires a NEMA 6-20R receptacle for Level 2 charging or a NEMA 5-15R outlet for Level 1 charging via the included adapter. It is not suited for drivers who lack access to these specific outlet types or who need faster charging speeds beyond 3.8 kW. Buyers without a dedicated 240-volt circuit should verify their electrical setup first.

Simple Plug-In Setup With App Control

Installation involves plugging the unit into a compatible outlet and connecting the vehicle connector; a mounting base and cable hook are included for wall organisation. The IP66 rating allows outdoor use in wet conditions. The smart app enables remote monitoring and scheduling for 1 to 12 hours, though initial pairing requires a stable network connection.
