10in pottery wheel with 350W motor

This 10in pottery wheel runs on a 350W motor at 110V and offers adjustable speeds from 60 to 300 rpm. The 9.8in turntable supports up to 11 lbs of clay and spins in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. It suits studio potters, classroom teachers and home hobbyists who need a capable forming machine.

Sustained throwing performance

The motor delivers continuous torque for centring and pulling taller forms without stalling under the 11 lb load. Speed adjustments via the foot pedal respond smoothly across the full 60 to 300 rpm range during long sessions. Bidirectional rotation lets you maintain momentum when switching techniques or correcting wall thickness.

Detachable ABS basin and tool kit

A 16 by 3.9in ABS basin catches water and trimmings and removes easily for cleaning between pieces. The frame measures 20.3 by 16 by 14.4in and weighs 24.5 lbs, giving a stable footprint on a workbench. An 8-piece stainless steel set, 8-piece wood set and a waterproof apron are included for immediate use.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 350 W motor get during a full day of throwing?

The 350 W motor runs on standard 110 V household power; no special cooling or ventilation is mentioned in the specifications.

A 110 V outlet and a water source for the detachable ABS basin are all that are required; the foot pedal, LCD panel and full tool kit ship in the box.

Will the 9.8 in turntable and 60-300 rpm range work smoothly with the heavier stoneware clays I already use?

The wheel is rated for 11 lbs maximum clay load and offers clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation across the full speed range.
