Pressure Washer Pump 1" Shaft 4000 PSI

The VEVOR triplex plunger pump mounts on a horizontal 1-inch shaft and produces up to 4000 PSI at 4.0 GPM. It is built for owners of compatible Simpson MorFlex models 40224, 40225 and 40226 who need a direct replacement. The kit includes five nozzles, a siphon tube with filter and mounting hardware.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Rated for 500 hours of continuous operation, the pump runs at a recommended 3100 PSI for typical residential and light industrial cleaning. An integrated pressure regulator lets the operator lower output during pauses so the engine can idle, reducing noise and wear. Anodised copper and aluminium components resist corrosion throughout extended sessions.

Interface Practical Limits

The 3/4-inch NH garden hose inlet and 3/8-inch quick-connect outlet set the plumbing envelope for this unit. A 13 to 15 HP engine is required to drive the 25.4 mm shaft at full capacity. Net weight is 21.38 lbs and the pump body measures 12.2 inches wide, defining the space and power envelope any installation must accommodate.

Questions about this item

How hot and loud does the 4000 PSI pump get during all-day operation?

The pump is rated for up to 500 hours of continuous use. A pressure regulator lets you drop pressure during pauses, which reduces noise and engine load for longer running periods.

What engine power must I already have to drive this 1" shaft pump?

The pump requires a compatible engine of 13 to 15 HP with a horizontal 1" / 25.4 mm shaft for direct mounting.

Will the 3/8" quick-connect outlet and 3/4" garden-hose inlet fit my older Simpson MorFlex 40224 hose and gun?

Yes — the pump is listed as compatible with Simpson MorFlex 40224, 40225 and 40226 models and uses standard 3/8" quick-connect outlet and 3/4" NH garden-hose inlet fittings.
