1500 lbs Trailer Dolly for Manoeuvring Trailers

The VEVOR QYC1500 is a 2-in-1 trailer dolly rated for 1500 lbs tongue weight. It suits owners who need to reposition utility, boat or camper trailers by hand in tight yards or driveways. The adjustable height offers 22 in and 26 in settings to match different coupler heights. A 2 in ball and 16 in pneumatic wheels complete the package.

Bolt-On Ball and Caster Assembly

Installation requires bolting the 2 in ball onto the frame and fitting the supplied caster wheel; basic hand tools are sufficient. The unit weighs 67.5 lbs, so two people make lifting and aligning the components easier. Misaligned bolt holes on the ball mount are the most common issue; check hole spacing before tightening. Ensure the caster swivels freely after assembly to avoid binding during use.

Verify Coupler Height and Ball Size Before Ordering

Confirm your trailer coupler accepts a 2 in ball and that the 22 in or 26 in height settings match your loaded tongue height. The dolly width is 18.9 in; measure the space between trailer frames or obstacles to ensure clearance. The 16 in wheels perform best on firm, level ground; soft soil or deep gravel will limit manoeuvrability.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the dolly is ready to move a trailer after assembly?

Verify the 2 inch ball sits securely on the coupler, the height is locked at either 22 or 26 inches, and the 16 inch wheels roll freely before applying any load.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately?

The package includes the trailer dolly and a user manual; a 2 inch hitch ball for the tow vehicle and any safety chains or pins are not included.

When should I use the 22 inch setting versus the 26 inch setting?

Choose 22 inches for lower trailer couplers and 26 inches for higher ones; both positions support the full 1500 lbs tongue weight capacity.
