Ready for Workshop Power

The VEVOR retractable extension cord reel delivers 45 ft of 12AWG SJTOW cable rated at 15 A and 125 V, giving workshops and garages a durable power feed that resists water, oil, acid, alkali and ozone. A 4.5 ft lead-in cord connects the reel to the mains supply. The lighted triple-tap outlet lets you run three tools at once while the indicator shows live power at a glance.

Mounts on Wall or Ceiling

The unit ships with a screw set for direct mounting on either a wall or a ceiling, and the 180° swivel bracket lets the reel pivot to follow the cord’s path. Automatic extension and retraction keep the cable tidy, while the built-in 15 A circuit breaker trips on overload or short circuit to protect connected equipment. The PP housing weighs 14.5 lbs, so fixings must be anchored into solid framing or masonry.

15 A Breaker Decides Suitability

The single specification that determines whether this reel fits the job is the 15 A overload protection paired with a 125 V, 1875 W rating. Any load exceeding 15 amps will trip the breaker, so the reel is unsuitable for high-draw appliances such as large heaters or compressors that need a higher current supply.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the reel is working correctly after mounting it?

Pull the cord out to the desired length; the automatic extension mechanism should lock it in place. The lighted triple-tap outlet glows when power is present, and the 15 A circuit breaker will trip if the 1875 W limit is exceeded.

What items are included and what must I supply for installation?

The package contains the retractable cord reel with 45 ft SJTOW cord and 4.5 ft lead-in cord, a set of mounting screws, and a user manual. You must provide the drill, anchors and screwdriver needed for wall or ceiling mounting.

Which cable gauge and length suit a 15 A workshop circuit?

This model supplies a 12 AWG / 3C SJTOW cord rated 15 A at 125 V, delivering up to 1875 W over 45 ft. It matches standard 15 A branch circuits without requiring a heavier gauge.
