Retractable Cord Reel with 75 ft SJTOW Cable

This VEVOR reel supplies 75 feet of 14 AWG SJTOW cord rated at 13 amps and 125 volts. A 180-degree swivel bracket allows ceiling or wall mounting, and the case is made from polypropylene. An automatic retract mechanism pulls the cord back after use. A 4.5 foot lead-in cord connects the reel to the mains supply.

Suits Workshops and Garages Needing Overhead Power

The three-outlet lighted tap lets several tools run from one drop, while the 13 amp breaker protects against overload. Builders who need a higher current rating or a different voltage supply should look for a different power distribution solution. The fixed cable length of 75 feet also means users who need more reach must choose another product.

13 Amp Circuit Breaker Limits Connected Load

The integrated breaker trips at 13 amps, which equals 1625 watts at 125 volts. This single figure decides whether the reel can handle the intended equipment. Always total the wattage of every device plugged into the three outlets before mounting the unit.

Questions about this item

What does the 13 A circuit breaker limit on the 125 V line?

The 13 A breaker caps continuous draw at 1625 W on the 125 V supply, tripping if the combined load on the three outlets exceeds that level.

How much clearance does the 7.09 in wide case with 180° swivel bracket need for wall or ceiling mounting?

The 7.09 in wide PP housing pivots 180° on its bracket, so allow at least that width plus room for the 75 ft cord to extend straight out from the chosen surface.

How is the reel secured and which step is often missed during installation?

Mount the bracket to wall or ceiling joists with the supplied screws, then attach the reel; the step often missed is tightening the bracket bolts fully before loading the 17.9 lb unit.
