Retractable Hose Reel for Large Gardens

The VEVOR retractable hose reel supplies a 65 ft hose plus a 6 ft lead hose, covering up to 4306 ft². A patented ratchet locks the hose at any length, and the 180° swivel bracket follows your movement around the garden. The unit weighs 16.76 lbs and measures 16.14 x 7.87 x 14 in.

Nine-Pattern Nozzle and Slow Rewind

The included 9-type nozzle switches between spray patterns for different watering tasks. An upgraded slow rewind system takes 10 to 11.5 seconds to retract up to 98 ft of hose, preventing fast recoil. A steel spring is rated for over 20,000 smooth retractions, and a spare leak-proof gasket is provided.

Suits Homeowners with Expansive Lawns

This reel suits users who need long reach and hands-free length locking without moving the base. Buyers who want more storage or a shorter hose for a small patio should look elsewhere. The frost-resistant PP shell handles temperature extremes, and the triple-layer PVC hose with brass interface passes 200 psi pressure and 600 psi burst testing.

Questions about this item

How often will the steel spring need replacement given the 20,000 retraction rating?

The high-quality steel spring is rated for over 20,000 smooth retractions, so replacement depends on how frequently you extend and retract the 65 ft hose each season.

What is the first limit reached during continuous watering — the 200 psi pressure rating or the 600 PSI burst rating?

Under sustained use the 200 psi working pressure limit is reached first; the 600 PSI burst rating is a safety margin, not an operating target.

How much heat builds up in the PP and ABS housing when the reel runs all day in direct sun?

The frost-resistant PP shell is designed to withstand high and low temperatures, so the housing stays stable during all-day outdoor operation.
