Solar Panel Bird Guard Kit

The VEVOR RH-8100A is a 100-foot roll of 8-inch wide mesh designed to protect solar arrays from birds and critters. It suits installers and property owners needing a long-length barrier for perimeter defence. The kit includes 70 stainless-steel fasteners and 50 cable ties for a complete installation package.

1/2-Inch Mesh Aperture

The square grid measures 12.7 mm per side, a dimension that blocks pigeons and squirrels while maintaining airflow across the panel surface. This specific aperture size is the critical specification for matching local wildlife pressure. Choosing a larger opening would compromise the protective function.

100-Foot Coverage Length

At 30480 mm long, the roll covers approximately 100 linear feet of panel edge, providing ample length for most residential rows. The 0.7 mm galvanised core with 1 mm PVC coating delivers mechanical strength and weather resistance for extended outdoor service. Installations exceeding this length will require an additional roll.

What mounting hardware is needed to secure the 0.7 mm galvanised wire to a standard frame?

The kit includes 70 aluminium alloy fasteners and 50 cable ties, which clamp the mesh to the panel edges without drilling.
