What the Ramp Is

This rubber curb ramp provides a 6 inch rise and measures 19.3 inches long by 14.6 inches wide. It supports up to 15 tons or 33069 lbs, making it suitable for cars, trucks, forklifts, wheelchairs and bicycles. The natural rubber construction resists high temperatures and wear without deforming. A textured surface and drainage grooves improve grip and water runoff in wet conditions.

What to Check Before Ordering

Verify that the 6 inch height matches the kerb or threshold you need to bridge. Ensure the 14.6 inch width fits the tyre track or wheelchair wheels that will cross it. The ramp weighs 31.5 lbs and includes two M8 by 10 expansion screws for optional anchoring to a solid surface. Confirm the mounting surface can accept these fixings if you plan to secure the ramp.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

The grid-patterned base distributes continuous heavy loads up to the rated 15 tons while absorbing shock from repeated passes. Natural rubber maintains its shape and traction during long-term exposure to sun, rain and temperature swings. The hydrophobic surface and drainage channels prevent water pooling that could reduce grip over time.

Questions about this item

Does the curb ramp come with any fixing hardware or is it just the ramp itself?

The box contains one rubber threshold ramp and two M8 by 10 expansion screws for anchoring it to the ground.

Is the 15-tonne rating the right choice for a delivery van or should I look for a lighter model?

With a 15-tonne or 33,069 lb capacity this single 19.3 by 14.6 inch ramp handles forklifts, trucks, buses and cars, so a delivery van is well within its limit.

Will the 6-inch rise and textured surface cope with wet British weather without becoming slippery?

The non-slip texture and bottom drainage grooves keep traction high and prevent water pooling, so the ramp stays grippy in rain and snow.
