RV Power Converter for 55A 12V Systems

This VEVOR RV converter changes 120V AC shore or generator power into a stable 12V DC supply for onboard electronics and battery charging. It suits RV owners who need a single unit to run lights, audio and other 12V loads while replenishing either lead-acid or LiFePO4 batteries.

Check Input Voltage and Battery Compatibility

Verify that your AC source delivers 120V AC and that the battery bank operates at 12V nominal voltage. Confirm the battery chemistry is either lead-acid or LiFePO4 so the dedicated charging modes apply. Ensure the converter’s 8.86 inch width fits the intended mounting location and that the 55A output matches the battery bank capacity between 55Ah and 70Ah.

Replaces Older Single-Stage Converters

The four-stage smart charging and adjustable 13.0V to 16.5V fixed-voltage mode replace basic converters that lack lithium profiles or voltage adjustment. The upgrade is worthwhile when adding LiFePO4 batteries or when the existing unit cannot supply 55A continuous current for modern RV loads.
