Shower Door 57.8–59 × 70 in Matte Black

This semi-frameless enclosure uses 6 mm SGCC tempered glass with a nano easy-clean coating. A narrow aluminium frame and stainless-steel hardware resist corrosion while keeping the visual profile light. The unit fits openings from 1469 to 1499 mm wide and 1778 mm high.

Bathrooms needing a wide double-slide enclosure

Suits renovations where a 576 mm centre opening and four-panel layout are required. Not suitable for spaces that cannot accommodate the 59 × 70 × 3.5 in footprint or the 90.4 lb weight. Buyers needing a different width range or a frameless look should consider other models.

576 mm centre opening width

The dual sliding panels create a 22.6 in clear passage when fully open. This single dimension determines whether the door works in your layout; verify the rough opening before purchase.

Questions about this item

How much clear opening space does the 57.8-59 in wide unit actually give when the two sliding panels are moved aside?

The door opening size is 22.6 in (576 mm), so that is the clear walk-through width once both movable panels are slid to the sides.

What track system do the panels run on and what clearance does it need above the glass?

The panels slide on an aluminum guide rail that is part of a frame measuring 3.5 in (90 mm) deep, so allow at least that much projection from the wall.

Will the 90.4 lb door fit on a standard stud wall without extra reinforcement?

At 90.4 lbs (41 kg) the unit is designed for direct mounting to the shower curb and wall using the supplied stainless-steel hardware and twist drill bit.
