10 sq ft heating mat for small rooms

The VEVOR SHHM-12-10 mat covers 10 square feet with 120 watts at 120 volts. A 1.6 by 6.5 foot adhesive-backed cable simplifies layout on a prepared subfloor. The kit includes a digital thermostat, floor sensor, alarm and manual for a complete installation.

120 V 60 Hz circuit limits mat length

The mat draws 120 watts on a standard 120 volt 60 hertz supply. The thermostat accepts 110 to 240 volts but the heating cable is fixed at 120 volts, so the circuit must match that voltage. Operating range spans 14 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit.

Replaces loose cable or hydronic tubing in tight

The pre-spaced mat removes the need to calculate cable spacing and works where hydronic tubing would be impractical. It is not suited for large open floors that exceed the 10 square foot coverage or for installations requiring 240 volt heating cable.

Questions about this item

How do I decide if the 10 sq ft mat with 120 W output suits my room?

The mat covers 10 sq ft and draws 120 W at 120 V, so it fits small areas like bathrooms or entryways where that footprint matches the floor space you want heated.

What does the 120 W rating mean for daily heating performance?

At 120 W the mat delivers a gentle, even warmth across the 1.6 x 6.5 ft cable layout, raising the floor into the 14–113 °F operating range depending on the thermostat setting.

Will the included thermostat work on a standard 120 V circuit and what load can it handle?

Yes, the thermostat accepts 110–240 V AC at 60 Hz and supports loads up to 3000 W, so the 120 W mat is well within its capacity on a normal 120 V household circuit.
