VEVOR Shower Niche XPSNICHE1616 16" x 16" Black

Shower Niche 16" x 16

The VEVOR XPSNICHE1616 is a wall-inserted shower niche measuring sixteen inches square with a four-inch depth. It uses XPS extruded foam board with a cement mortar and waterproof coating substrate to create a sealed, one hundred percent waterproof cavity. The unit is designed for tile or other surface finishes that must be applied before use. Builders and renovators gain a ready-to-tile storage recess without constructing a niche from scratch.

Sustained moisture resistance

The triple-layer substrate maintains its seal across the stated operating range of zero to one hundred four degrees Fahrenheit. HCFC-free XPS foam resists decomposition and decay during continuous exposure to humidity and temperature cycling. The single-layer construction avoids internal joints that could trap water over time. Stainless steel claws and screws supplied with the niche remain corrosion-resistant through prolonged wet conditions.

Tile-ready installation limits

The niche installs directly into a framed wall opening and accepts standard tile thicknesses applied with thin-set mortar. Its four-inch depth and sixteen-inch width set the maximum storage envelope for bottles and accessories. The foam core cannot support structural loads or serve as a finished surface without tile. Installers must verify that the surrounding wall assembly accommodates the niche dimensions and waterproofing transitions.
