Job-site ventilator for confined spaces

The VEVOR SHT-40 is a 16 inch portable axial blower built to move high volumes of air through a 16.4 ft flexible duct. It runs on AC 110V 60Hz power and offers two speed settings for ventilation in basements, workshops and warehouses.

Sustained output with overheat protection

At the high setting the motor draws 695W ±10% (2.0 hp) and delivers 5175 CFM, while the low setting uses 542W ±10% (1.5 hp) for 4475 CFM. An IP44-rated enclosure and built-in overheat protection allow continuous operation without thermal shutdown.

Simple setup with duct management

The unit ships fully assembled with a 5.0 m duct hose included, so installation is limited to positioning the housing and connecting the duct. At 42.8 lbs the steel frame requires two people to lift safely, and the rigid duct must be kept straight to avoid airflow restriction.

Questions about this item

How much electricity does the SHT-40 draw when running continuously on high speed?

On high speed the motor draws 695 W ±10 % from a 110 V 60 Hz supply, which is roughly 2.0 hp; on low speed it drops to 542 W ±10 %.

Does the ventilator come with everything needed to start exhausting air, or must I buy ducting separately?

The box includes the blower unit and a 16.4 ft flexible duct hose, so no additional ducting is required for basic operation.

Will the IP44-rated housing survive splashes if I keep it near a basement sump pump?

Yes, the IP44 rating means the steel housing and motor are protected against water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for damp basement environments.
