Heavy-duty carbon steel shelf brackets

The VEVOR SJ9 set contains twelve L-shaped brackets made from 3 mm thick carbon steel with a matte black powder-coated finish. Each bracket measures 18.11 by 12 inches and is rated for a 160 lbs load capacity. The package includes mounting hardware and a level for accurate installation.

Suited for solid floating shelves in living rooms.

These brackets suit homeowners and installers who want a strong, invisible support for timber or composite shelves up to the rated weight. They are not designed for drywall-only mounting without studs, for outdoor exposure, or for loads that exceed the stated 160 lbs per bracket.

Twelve brackets handle multiple shelf runs

The kit provides enough brackets for several metres of shelving, each unit comfortably holding heavy books, kitchenware or décor. Capacity runs out when the shelf span or material flexes beyond the bracket rating, or when fixings are anchored into unsuitable substrates.

Questions about this item

What wall material and tools do I need to mount these 18.11 x 12 in carbon steel brackets?

You need a solid wall such as concrete, brick or wood studs, a drill with a bit suited to the supplied 24 M5*40 screws and 24 dowels, and the included level to check horizontal alignment.

Will the 3 mm thick matte black brackets support a reclaimed oak shelf that is deeper than 12 in?

Each bracket is rated for 160 lbs, so a deeper shelf is fine provided the total load stays within that limit and the shelf is securely fastened with the supplied M5*16 screws.

How can I confirm the 12 brackets are level after installation?

Place the supplied level on the installed shelf; when the bubble sits between the centre lines the brackets are horizontally true.
