Solar Panel Bird Guard 6 in x 100 ft

The VEVOR Solar Panel Bird Guard is a protective mesh kit designed to keep birds and small animals from nesting under photovoltaic arrays. It suits homeowners and installers who need a flexible barrier that can be trimmed and shaped around various panel layouts.

1/2 inch mesh with 100 ft roll length

The roll measures 30480 mm long by 152.5 mm wide with a 12.7 mm square grid, giving ample coverage for standard residential rows. The 0.7 mm galvanised steel core and 1 mm PVC-coated diameter resist deformation, though the fixed 6-inch height may not suit installations with larger underside gaps.

PVC-coated galvanised wire for weather resistance

The hard PVC dip coating adds scratch resistance and rust protection for prolonged outdoor exposure. Fasteners are 304 stainless steel with plastic edge wrapping, and the kit includes 60 fasteners plus 50 cable ties for a secure, low-maintenance fit that stays quiet in wind.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/2-inch mesh and 0.7 mm galvanized wire keep pigeons out while still fitting under my existing panel rails?

The 12.7 mm square grid and 0.7 mm core wire form a rigid barrier that blocks birds yet bends to slide under standard rail clearances.

How can I confirm the PVC coating is intact and the fasteners hold after I finish the install?

Run a gloved hand along every cut edge — no exposed metal should show — then tug each of the 60 stainless-steel fasteners and 50 cable ties; none should shift.

Does the kit include the 60 fasteners and 50 cable ties shown in the photos, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains the 100 ft roll, 60 aluminum-alloy fasteners, 50 cable ties, a user manual and a tag — no extra hardware is required.
