Questions about this item

Will the 23-gauge galvanized steel wire need replacement if the hot-dipped coating wears through?

The hot-dipped galvanized coating on the 23-gauge steel wire resists corrosion; if the coating is damaged, the exposed steel can rust, so inspect periodically and replace any sections where rust appears.

What limits how long a 48-inch by 50-foot roll can stay tensioned outdoors?

Sustained tension, wind load and thermal expansion on the 1220 mm wide, 15.24 m long mesh will eventually cause permanent stretch or wire fatigue, which is the first limit under continuous outdoor use.

Does the 9.7 kg roll generate heat or noise when left in the sun all day?

The galvanized steel mesh is passive — it produces no noise and no heat of its own; it only warms to ambient temperature from solar gain.
