Crowd Control System

This four-piece stanchion kit creates instant queue lines or VIP areas for events, museums and hospitality venues. Each post stands on a fillable base that reaches 3.5 kg when loaded with sand, providing a stable barrier that resists knocks and outdoor conditions.

Adjustable Rope Layout

Two red velvet ropes measuring 1.5 m each connect to four-way connectors on the 201 stainless steel posts, allowing straight runs, angles or closed loops. The 32 mm rope diameter gives a substantial feel while the tool-free assembly uses only the supplied wrench and screws.

Event Organisers and Venue Managers

The set suits anyone needing portable, reconfigurable crowd guidance without permanent fixtures. Buyers who require longer continuous barriers, fixed floor mounting or heavier-duty steel construction should look at alternative systems.

Questions about this item

How often will the sand in the 3.5 kg bases need to be topped up or replaced?

The fillable bases hold 3.5 kg of sand once filled; sand only needs replacing if it leaks or gets wet, otherwise it stays in place for the life of the stanchion.

What is the first limit reached when the 1.5 m velvet ropes are tensioned continuously in a queue line?

The 32 mm diameter flannel ropes and four-way connectors set the practical span; exceeding the 1.5 m rope length or over-tightening stresses the connectors first.

Do the 201 stainless steel posts and gold finish stay cool and quiet when left in direct sunlight all day?

The stainless posts absorb heat in full sun but have no moving parts, so they remain silent; the PE base and sand filling do not generate noise or excess heat.
