Four-panel steel edging kit

This kit contains four black galvanised steel panels each measuring 40 x 12 x .06 inches. The panels are coated for rust resistance and are designed to create borders for gardens, walkways and planting beds. Four connecting clips and a pair of gloves are included for installation.

Suits gardeners needing flexible border lengths

The bendable panels adapt to straight, curved or irregular layouts without cracking. Buyers who need taller containment above 8.06 inches or integrated spikes longer than 3.94 inches should consider other edging systems. Nails for ground anchoring are not supplied.

12.8 inch panel width

Each panel presents a 12.8 inch face height above ground once installed, with a 3.94 inch spike below the surface for stability. This single dimension determines whether the edging will visually contain mulch, soil or gravel at the desired depth.

Questions about this item

How much trench depth do the 100 mm spikes need?

Drive each spike so the 100 mm portion sits fully in the soil; the 204.8 mm face then remains above ground.

Which fasteners join the 1016 mm sections, and how many come in the box?

Four 38 × 360 mm clips are included; slide one clip over the adjoining ends of two sections and press until seated.

Will the 1.5 mm galvanised steel face need recoating or panel replacement over time?

The rust-resistant coating is designed to last without recoating; individual 40 × 12 in panels can be unclipped and swapped if physical damage occurs.
