Suction Hose Kit for Water Pumps

This kit provides a complete hose assembly for water-pump applications. It contains a 20 ft green suction hose, a 65 ft blue backwash hose, camlocks, clamps, a cam and groove adapter, and a stainless steel round-hole strainer. The components connect directly to the pump for immediate use.

Pressure and Temperature Limits

The hoses operate at a maximum pressure of 90 psi and within a temperature range of 23°F to 149°F. The suction hose has a wall thickness of .12 in and the backwash hose a thickness of .04 in, both built to withstand full suction and discharge pressures. These limits define the safe operating envelope for the assembly.

2 in Hose Inside Diameter

The 2.0 in inside diameter determines the flow capacity and pump compatibility for the entire kit. Both the suction and backwash hoses share this bore size, and the included camlocks, adapters and strainer are sized to match. Verify that your pump ports and required flow rate align with this diameter before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 20 ft suction hose or the 65 ft backwash hose for my pump setup?

The kit includes both: a 20 ft green suction hose and a 65 ft blue backwash hose, each with camlock connectors, so you can handle intake and discharge in one package.

What does the 90 psi operating pressure mean when the hoses are connected to my pump?

Both hoses are rated for up to 90 psi, so they will safely handle full suction and discharge pressures from compatible water pumps without bursting or leaking.

How do the camlock and groove adapters connect, and what hose size do they accept?

The kit supplies four camlocks and two cam-and-groove adapters sized for the 2.0 in inner-diameter hoses, providing quick, tool-free connections to the pump and strainer.
