Questions about this item

How do I install the 1.3 x 16.4 ft thatch roll on a tiki bar frame?

Unroll the 5000 x 400 mm PE sheet over rafters, align the 1.3 ft width, and fasten through the reinforced netting with staples or zip ties; overlap seams by at least 15.7 in to shed water.

What maintenance will the speckled yellow PE thatch need over time?

Rinse the 6.17 lb roll with a garden hose annually to remove algae; inspect fastener points after high winds and replace any torn 15.7 in panels.

What limit appears first when the roof faces full sun and rain year-round?

UV degradation of the PE fibres typically shows as fading and brittleness before the waterproof coating fails, especially on the 1.3 ft exposed edges.
