16-Inch Trapezoid Steel Table Legs

These 16-inch carbon-steel legs come as a single piece with ten self-tapping screws and an instruction manual. They suit DIY builders adding height to coffee tables, desks, benches or night stands.

400 lbs Maximum Load Limit

The rectangular tube measures 1.38 inches across and supports up to 400 lbs. Mounting holes are 0.24 inches in diameter, so the supplied ST 3.5 x 30 mm screws are the only fasteners guaranteed to fit.

Replaces Shorter or Weaker Legs

Swapping out lower-profile or lighter-duty legs raises the work surface by 16 inches and adds 400 lbs capacity. The jump is worth it when the existing base cannot carry the intended top or when a higher stance is required.

Questions about this item

One 16 inch pair or two for a wider bench?

Each pair stands 16 inches tall with an 11.22 inch bottom spread and 6.9 inch top width, so one set supports a single tabletop; add a second set only if the piece needs four legs.

Will the 400 lb rating hold a solid wood top plus clutter?

The carbon-steel legs are tested to 400 lbs total, so a heavy top and everyday items stay well within the limit.

Do the ST 3.5 x 30 mm screws need 6 mm pilot holes in hardwood?

The 6 mm mounting holes match the supplied self-tapping screws; drill 6 mm clearance holes in hardwood to prevent splitting.
