Trailer Brake Kit for 7000 lbs Axles

This kit fits axles rated to 7000 lbs and uses an 8 on 6.5" bolt circle with a 5-hole mounting pattern. It provides a complete replacement assembly for the brake system on compatible trailers. The components are built from grey cast iron, SPHC and Q235 steel for structural durability.

Self-Adjusting Brakes with Drums and Dust Caps

The set includes two electric brakes, two brake drums and two dust caps so the hub and friction surfaces are protected from debris. Each brake uses a self-adjusting mechanism that maintains pad clearance automatically as the linings wear. The 12" magnets operate on DC12V at 2.8 to 4.2A and deliver 600N of magnetic force.

Electric Drum Brake Limits

The friction coefficient is 0.48 and the brake pads measure 1.97" x 0.19" with a rated lifespan of 30,000 km. The overall product lifespan is given as 50,000 km. The assembly weighs 96.47 lbs and requires a 12-volt power source capable of supplying the stated current range. Buyers who need hydraulic actuation or a different bolt pattern cannot use this kit.
