VEVOR Trailer Tongue Box Aluminum Diamond Plate 39x16.5x12in

Aluminium Diamond-Plate Tongue Box

The VEVOR trailer tongue box is a lockable aluminium alloy chest with a 5-bar diamond-plate finish and double-sided dusting for corrosion resistance. It measures 39 by 16.5 by 12 inches externally and weighs 16.3 pounds, offering 66 pounds of load capacity. The overlapping door and extra-wide sealing strip keep rain and snow out of the 990 by 419 by 305 millimetre interior. Two keys are supplied for the integrated lock.

Mounting Clearance and Frame Width

Check that the trailer A-frame provides at least 39 inches of straight rail between the coupler and the first cross-member so the box can sit flat. Verify the frame width at the mounting point matches the 17.32 inch specification and that the 21.85 inch front projection will not foul the tow vehicle bumper or jack. Ensure the 16.3 pound empty weight and 66 pound load limit are acceptable for the trailer tongue rating.

Daily Use and Durability

The thickened aluminium alloy construction resists rust and wear while staying light enough not to overload the tongue. Diamond-plate surfaces shed dirt and give secure footing when the lid is open. The overlapping door with its wide seal maintains a tight barrier against water intrusion during travel and storage. The lock and two keys secure batteries, tools and outdoor gear inside the 30 kilogram capacity compartment.
