Underbody Truck Box 60 Inch

This underbody truck box measures 60 by 17 by 18 inches and is built from heavy duty aluminum diamond plate. It provides a lockable, weather resistant storage compartment for tools and gear on trucks, vans and trailers. The T handle latch and concealed hinge keep contents secure and the lid operation smooth.

Check Frame Clearance and Mounting

Verify that your vehicle frame offers at least 60 inches of unobstructed width between rails and enough ground clearance for the 18 inch box height. Confirm the mounting surface can support 33.5 pounds plus up to 110 pounds of cargo. Ensure no exhaust components or brake lines interfere with the planned location.

Upgrade from Open Bed or Plastic Bins

This box replaces loose gear in the bed or fragile plastic totes that crack and leak. The aluminum diamond plate construction and waterproof seal protect contents from rain, road salt and debris. The jump is worth it when you need 110 pound load capacity and a secure lockable enclosure for daily work use.

Questions about this item

Does the box arrive with the T-handle latch and two keys already fitted?

Yes, the T-handle latch and lock are installed and two keys are supplied.

How do I decide between the 60-inch and any shorter under-body box?

Choose the 60-inch length when your frame rails allow a 1524 mm clear span; shorter boxes fit tighter wheelbases.

Will the 110 lb load rating hold a full set of mechanic's tools?

The 50 kg rating supports a typical mechanic's tool set, but weigh your heaviest drawer first to stay within the limit.
