Van Roof Ladder Rack

The VEVOR van roof ladder rack is a two-bar aluminium alloy system rated for 400 lbs of evenly distributed cargo. It suits tradespeople and van owners who need to carry ladders, conduit or lightweight building materials on a rain-gutter roof.

Adjustable Length and Drilling Mount

Length adjusts continuously from 51.2 to 81.1 inches while height spans 5.9 to 9.1 inches to match different gutter profiles. Permanent drilling installation locks the bars in place so the rack does not shift under vibration or heavy loads.

Aluminium Build and Low Weight

Each bar weighs 10 kg for a combined 22 lbs, adding minimal payload penalty to the vehicle. The 9.84-inch width spreads weight across the gutter, and the open-bar design lets users strap items directly to the alloy tubes without proprietary channels.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminum bars need any corrosion protection or part replacement over time?

The rack uses aluminum alloy construction that resists rust, so no scheduled corrosion treatment or bar replacement is required under normal use.

What is the maximum load the rack can carry before the 400 lbs capacity limit is reached?

The system is rated for 400 lbs (181 kg) total distributed across both bars; exceeding this limit risks structural failure.

Does the rack generate any noise or heat when loaded and driven at highway speeds all day?

The rack has no moving parts or power draw, so it produces no heat and only minor wind noise that varies with vehicle speed and cross-bar spacing.
