Passive stereo pair for home listening

The VEVOR VV-5B is a pair of passive bookshelf speakers rated at 300 W. Each cabinet houses a 5.25 in woofer and a 1 in tweeter inside a wooden enclosure. They are intended for listeners who want a traditional stereo setup driven by an external amplifier.

8-ohm impedance with detachable grilles

The speakers present an 8-ohm load compatible with many integrated amplifiers and AV receivers. Binding-post terminals accept bare wire, spades or banana plugs for secure connection. A detachable grille protects the drivers while allowing a clean baffle appearance when removed.

Cables and manual included

The package supplies a pair of speaker cables so the system can be wired immediately without extra purchases. A user manual covers placement guidance and connection diagrams. Buyers who need subwoofer outputs, wireless streaming or active amplification must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What impedance do the 8-ohm passive bookshelf speakers present to an amplifier?

The VEVOR VV-5B speakers are rated at 8 ohms, so they present a standard 8-ohm load that most home amplifiers can drive without stability issues.

How much shelf depth is needed for the 338 mm deep wooden enclosures?

Each cabinet measures 338 mm front-to-back, so allow at least that depth plus a few centimetres for rear cable clearance and airflow.

Which binding-post polarity should the red speaker cable connect to during setup?

Connect the red-marked cable to the red (+) terminal on both the speaker and amplifier; reversing polarity on one channel collapses the stereo image.
