4 Ton Hydraulic Long Ram Jack

The VEVOR VV-CGQJD-HODP-4T is a hydraulic long ram jack rated for 4 tons or 8818 lbs. It provides a lifting range from 24 in to 43.7 in with a stroke of 19.7 in. A single piston pump and flat base form the manual lifting mechanism. The unit weighs 17.6 lb.

Suits garage and shop crane tasks needing extended

This jack fits engine lift hoists and cherry picker applications where a long stroke is required. It is not for buyers who need a powered pump or a higher load rating than 4 tons. It is also not for users who require a lifting range starting below 24 in or exceeding 43.7 in.

Manual pump with flat base installs on compatible

The single piston pump operates by hand and the flat base sits on the crane saddle. The piston rod diameter is 1.1 in and the pinhole diameter is .7 in. Common issues include air in the hydraulic cylinder causing spongy lift and the base shifting if the mounting surface is not level.

Questions about this item

What crane or cherry picker frame do I need to mount this 4-ton hydraulic ram jack onto?

The jack has a 0.7 in pinhole and a 2.4 x 2.4 in flat base, so your crane or cherry picker must accept that pin diameter and provide a stable mounting surface for the base.

Will the 24 in minimum lift height clear the engine or load on my existing shop crane without extra blocking?

The ram starts at 24 in and extends to 43.7 in with a 19.7 in stroke, so measure your crane’s boom height and load clearance to confirm the 24 in closed height fits before adding any blocks.

How can I verify the jack is delivering its full 8818 lbs capacity after installation?

Apply a known test load up to 8818 lbs and confirm the piston rod reaches the full 43.7 in max height without drifting down, indicating the single piston pump and cylinder are holding pressure correctly.
