2 FT Carbon Steel Handrail

The VEVOR VV-GYGFS-HS2YC is a 2 FT carbon steel handrail designed to provide secure support on stairs for children, the elderly, pregnant women and anyone with limited mobility. It mounts to the wall with included brackets and stands 3.74 inches from the surface. The matte black finish resists rust and corrosion indoors or outdoors.

Included Mounting Hardware

The package supplies two wall mount supports, eight 6*30 expansion screws and eight 3.5*35 screws so the handrail can be threaded together and fixed to the wall without extra trips to the hardware store. Pre-drilled 0.23 inch holes in the brackets align with the supplied fasteners for straightforward installation.

440 lbs Load Capacity

Each bracket is rated for 440 lbs, giving ample headroom for adult users leaning or pulling on the rail during daily use. The 1.26 inch diameter pipe with 0.06 inch wall thickness resists deformation under normal loads, though the 2 FT length suits only short runs and cannot span longer staircases without additional sections.

Questions about this item

Will the matte black finish on the carbon steel handrail need repainting to prevent rust?

The finish uses 100m outdoor-dedicated spray paint designed to withstand the elements year after year without rust or corrosion in all seasons and climates.

What is the maximum load each wall mount support can handle before it becomes the limiting factor?

Each bracket supports 440lbs or 200 kg, so the wall mount supports are rated to that same capacity.

Does the carbon steel pipe get hot or cold to the touch when installed outdoors in direct sun or freezing temperatures?

The matte black finish on the 32 mm diameter carbon steel pipe will conduct ambient temperature, so it can feel hot in direct sun or cold in freezing weather.
