24" x 100' Galvanised Steel Hardware Cloth

The VEVOR VV-HC-24100 is a 24-inch by 100-foot roll of 16-gauge steel wire with a 1-inch mesh opening. It features a galvanised and black vinyl coating for corrosion resistance. The roll weighs 28 lbs (12.6 kg) and includes a wire cutter and fabric gloves. It suits garden fencing, pet enclosures and general barrier needs.

Replaces lighter mesh or uncoated wire

This roll upgrades from thinner gauges or bare steel that rust quickly or deform under pressure. The 16-gauge thickness combined with dual coating withstands outdoor exposure and animal contact better than basic poultry netting. The jump is worth it when a durable, long-lasting barrier is required for permanent installations.

Simple unroll and cut installation

Installation involves unrolling the cloth, cutting to length with the supplied pliers, and securing it to posts or frames. The included gloves protect hands from sharp wire ends. The main difficulty is managing the 100-foot length and 28-lb weight alone; a second person makes handling and tensioning much easier.

Questions about this item

What opening size does the 24" x 100' 16-gauge mesh have?

The mesh features a 1" square opening that is consistent across the full 24-inch by 100-foot roll.

Which tools are included for cutting and handling the galvanised steel roll?

The package supplies one wire-cutter and one pair of fabric gloves so you can trim and position the coated mesh without extra purchases.

How does the black vinyl coating affect long-term upkeep of the 28 lb roll?

The galvanised steel beneath the black vinyl resists rust, so the mesh only needs occasional rinsing and inspection for coating damage.
