VEVOR Welding Helmet Auto Darkening METIS Series 3.94" x 3.74" 4 Arc Sensors

Large Viewing Area for Precision Work

The VEVOR METIS Series welding helmet provides a 3.94" x 3.74" true colour viewing screen with 1/1/1/1 optical clarity. It is designed for welders who need a clear, natural view of the weld pool during TIG, MIG, ARC, grinding and cutting tasks. The large window improves situational awareness and reduces the need to lift the hood frequently.

Fixed Shade Range and Sensor Limits

The auto-darkening filter switches in 1/20000 seconds using four arc sensors that detect the welding arc. Shade levels are locked to DIN 4 for grinding, DIN 5-9 for cutting and DIN 9-13 for welding; there is no continuous variable adjustment outside these bands. The filter requires two CR2032 lithium batteries supplemented by solar charging, and a low-voltage warning indicates when replacement is needed.

Upgrade from Fixed-Shade or Two-Sensor Helmets

This helmet replaces passive lenses or entry-level auto-darkening hoods that use fewer sensors and slower reaction times. The jump is worthwhile when welding out of position or at low amperages where two sensors can miss the arc. It does not suit applications requiring a wider shade range than DIN 4-13 or a viewing area larger than 100 x 95 mm.
