Fence Post Anchor Kit for 2-Inch Timber

This kit contains four steel anchors designed to secure or repair 2-inch wood fence posts. Each anchor stands 34 inches tall with an 18-inch nail section for deep ground penetration. The set includes screws and a sleeve for immediate installation. It suits homeowners and contractors fixing tilted or broken posts.

Suits Repair Jobs Needing Four Anchors

The four-piece quantity covers a standard fence section or multiple isolated repairs. Buyers needing only a single anchor or a different lumber width should look elsewhere. The 2-inch internal width does not accept larger or smaller timber sizes. Projects requiring adjustable height or removable brackets are not supported by this fixed design.

Screws and Sleeve Speed Up Assembly

Sixteen M4.8×50 screws and one sleeve are bundled so no separate fastener purchase is required. The screws lock the post into the anchor’s fixing plates while the sleeve aids alignment during driving. No additional tools or hardware are mentioned in the package contents.

Questions about this item

What size timber does the 2-inch internal width of each anchor accept?

The kit fits nominal 2-inch lumber, which is 51 mm wide, matching the anchor's internal dimensions.

How do the 34-inch total height and 18-inch nail length work with existing fence posts that are already set in concrete?

The 34-inch anchor height and 18-inch nail allow the spike to be driven beside the old post and secured with the supplied M 4.8 × 50 screws without removing the concrete footing.

After installation, how can I confirm each anchor is holding the post securely using the included hardware?

Tighten the 16 supplied M 4.8 × 50 screws through the fixing plates; the post should show no lateral movement when pushed by hand.
