Small-Animal Habitat with Tempered Glass Panels

This wire hamster cage combines tempered glass walls with iron mesh panels in a black finish. The 22.8-inch wide enclosure provides a clear view of pets while keeping them securely contained. It is designed for hamsters, gerbils, mice and similar small rodents.

Four Straight Connectors Simplify Assembly

The package includes four black straight connectors that join the glass and mesh sections without tools. A 21.3-inch height allows room for the included exercise wheel, water bottle, food bowl and ceramic hideout. The 10.50 kg weight gives the unit a stable footprint on a desk or shelf.

Replaces Basic Plastic Tanks for Better Visibility

Owners moving up from fully opaque plastic bins gain full side visibility through the glass panels. The mesh sections maintain airflow while preventing escapes. The jump is worthwhile when daily observation and a rigid, chew-resistant structure matter more than a lightweight, all-plastic starter cage.

Questions about this item

What does the 20-25 mesh spacing mean for containment?

The iron mesh has 20-25 openings per inch, small enough to keep hamsters, gerbils and mice from squeezing through while still allowing airflow.

How much floor space does the 22.8 x 15 inch footprint need?

The cage sits on a 22.8 by 15 inch rectangle, so allow at least that much clear surface plus room for the water bottle and wheel to extend slightly.

How are the four straight black connectors used during assembly?

The four straight black connectors join the glass panels to the iron mesh frame; the common mistake is forcing them before the panels are fully seated, which can crack the tempered glass.
