Product Identity

The VEVOR XDFLS5-7FT is a 5 x 7 ft modern area rug in blue designed for indoor spaces such as bedrooms, offices, living rooms and entryways. It features a 360g faux cashmere surface with TPR backing for a soft, non-slip finish.

Suitability

This rug suits households wanting a washable, tear-resistant floor cover that is pet friendly and easy to maintain. It is not for buyers who need a heavier carpet for high-traffic commercial areas or a different colour scheme.

Deciding Specification

The 0.24 inch thickness and 360g faux cashmere construction determine the feel underfoot and how the rug sits in doorways. Buyers should confirm this profile matches their clearance and comfort requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I lay the 5 x 7 ft rug flat and avoid the curled edges that appear after unrolling?

Unroll the rug on a clean floor with the TPR backing down, press the edges firmly for several minutes, and let the 6 mm thick faux cashmere settle for a few hours before placing furniture.

When will the 360 g faux cashmere surface or the TPR backing need replacement?

The 360 g faux cashmere resists tearing and is machine washable, while the TPR backing maintains grip; replace only if fibres matt irreversibly or the backing cracks from heavy traffic.

At what point does the 0.24 inch pile stop recovering under sustained foot traffic?

The 6 mm pile compresses under constant weight but springs back when the load is removed; permanent flattening appears only after prolonged heavy use in the same path.
