Sturdy 880 lb Load Capacity

This wooden porch swing measures 5.5 ft in length and supports up to 880 lbs. It is built from cedar wood with galvanized steel chains and finished in white. The structure weighs 37.5 lbs and includes cup holders on both sides for convenience.

Suits Outdoor Relaxation Spaces

It fits courtyards, gardens, patios, and porches where a permanent hanging seat is wanted. Adjustable chains and a reclined backrest let users set a comfortable angle. Buyers without a suitable overhead beam or tree limb should look at something else.

Seats Multiple Adults Comfortably

The seat spans 55 inches wide and 19 inches deep, providing room for several people within the 880 lb limit. Chains above the seat reach 5.6 ft while lower chains measure 2.8 ft each. Installation uses pre-drilled holes and supplied hardware, typically completed in 20 minutes with two people.

Questions about this item

What overhead structure can support the 880 lbs load capacity of the YQ-117D porch swing?

You need a beam, joist or tree limb rated for at least 880 lbs with 27.17 inches of clear width for the 5.6 ft upper chains and S-hooks.

Will the 1.7 m galvanized chains reach a standard 8 ft porch ceiling without extra hardware?

The 5.6 ft upper chains plus 2.8 ft lower chains give roughly 8.4 ft total length, so an 8 ft ceiling works if the S-hooks attach directly to the beam.

How do I confirm the swing angle is safe after the 20-minute two-person assembly?

Sit on the 55 x 19 in seat, check that all 12 M8 bolts and 4 safety locks are tight, and verify the chains hang plumb without binding.
