Questions about this item

Does the Victor 0311-0472 acetylene welding tip come alone or with extra parts?

The tip is sold as a single piece. Torch handles and mixers such as UN, UN-1 or UN-J are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which tip size and drill size should I select for thin sheet work?

This listing is fixed at tip size 00 and drill size 70, suited for welding from 3/64 in up to 3/4 in and brazing from 1/8 in to 1/4 in.

What does the 3/64 in minimum welding thickness mean on the bench?

It indicates the thinnest material the tip can cleanly weld with acetylene; below that thickness you risk burn-through or poor fusion.
