All-in-one music centre

The Victor Cosmopolitan combines a three-speed turntable, CD player, cassette deck, AM/FM radio and Bluetooth streaming in a single brown-finished unit. It plays vinyl at 33, 45 and 78 RPM and records from any source to a USB thumb drive. Built-in stereo speakers and a remote control make it ready for immediate listening without extra equipment.

Extended playback and recording

The belt-drive mechanism runs at the three standard speeds for long listening sessions, while the USB port handles both playback and one-touch recording from vinyl, CD or cassette. Bluetooth output sends the turntable audio to an external speaker up to 33 feet away, with volume controlled on that speaker. The AC 100-240 V power supply supports worldwide voltages without a separate transformer.

Three-speed vinyl compatibility

The decisive specification is the 33, 45 and 78 RPM capability, which determines whether your record collection can be played. If you own 78 RPM shellac discs, this unit handles them; if you only need 33 and 45 RPM, simpler models exist. Buyers who require a dedicated phono preamp output or cartridge upgrade path should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How hot does the Cosmopolitan get when the turntable runs for hours?

The unit draws power from an AC 100-240V 50/60 Hz supply and uses built-in stereo speakers, so normal warmth is expected during extended play.

What external speakers can I connect to the line-out jacks on the Cosmopolitan?

RCA line-out lets you feed any amplifier or powered speakers that accept a standard phono-level signal.

Will my 78 rpm shellac records play at the correct speed on the Cosmopolitan?

Yes — the turntable supports 33, 45, and 78 rpm, so 78 rpm discs play at the proper speed.
