Bronze Press-Fit Union for Potable Water

This Viega 79725 straight union joins 2 in copper tubing to a 2 in FNPT threaded connection using a press-fit joint on the tube side. It is intended for installers working on potable-water systems who need a secure, flame-free transition between press and threaded piping.

Rated to 200 psi and 250 Degrees F

The bronze body and EPDM O-ring meet ASTM B75 and ASTM B88 for pressure and temperature performance in hot and cold water service. The press-fit end requires a compatible press tool and jaw; the joint cannot be disassembled or re-pressed once made. Systems exceeding the stated pressure or temperature limits are outside the fitting's certified range.
