Stainless 304 Press-Fit Coupling

The Viega Megapress coupling joins two 1-inch tubes with a press-fit connection on each end. Made from grade 304 stainless steel, it is rated for non-potable water systems up to 200 psi and 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The straight connector measures 3 9/32 inches overall and uses an FKM O-ring for sealing.

Replaces threaded or welded joints

This fitting eliminates the need for pipe threading or welding equipment on 1-inch stainless lines. The jump is worth it when installation speed, flame-free work sites or consistent press-tool repeatability matter more than the cost of the tool itself. It does not suit potable water circuits or applications exceeding the stated pressure and temperature limits.
